Navigating Hail Damage Repair in Texas Made Simple
Dealing with hail damage and insurance claims can be overwhelming for homeowners. Here’s how I simplify the process:
Complimentary Inspection and Claim Support:
Suspect hail damage? I provide a thorough inspection at no cost to evaluate the damage and recommend the best steps forward.
If filing a claim is necessary, I guide you through the process and assist in contacting your insurance company.
Insurance Adjuster Evaluation and Scope of Work:
Your insurer sends an adjuster to assess the damage and generate a repair estimate using XACTIMATE, a standard computer program.
It’s important to note: At this stage, the initial estimate is based on their assessment. Later, I create a supplement that outlines the actual scope of repairs required, ensuring your insurer covers the full costs incurred to bring your property up to current building codes.
Settlement Checks and Project Completion:
After the inspection, your insurance company issues two checks:
- Actual Cash Value (ACV) check, covering depreciated repair costs minus your deductible.
- Depreciation check, released after invoicing, which covers the remaining expenses.
Work begins once materials arrive and your deductible plus the ACV check are collected.
Upon finishing the project, I provide a certificate of completion to your insurer for verification.
Why the Two-Check System?
This approach prevents unethical practices that some contractors used to engage in, ensuring transparency and fair pricing throughout the repair process.
My Commitment to Excellence:
I'm dedicated to delivering the highest quality roof possible within the budget allocated by your insurance.
I manage your project efficiently with a commitment to clear communication every step of the way.
Integrity, honesty, and hard work define my approach to every project.
